I can’t believe we only have 2 more weeks left of October. This year is starting to come to an end, but honestly it’s my favorite time of the year. I have been brainstorming some new design ideas for this years Christmas decor, a whole new color palette, and I honestly am equally nervous and excited to share it! Only nervous because I hope I can find everything I need for it. However before we can start on that I wanted to share this fun idea of a Halloween beverage station I created in partnership with Wayfair.
To get started I used the buffet in my dining room. On a day to day basis it holds decor, but when it’s time to party, I clear it off and turn it into a serving station, in this case a beverage station.

If you’ve been around here before that you know I don’t really decorate for holidays but more seasonally, so it was fun to challenge myself with this project.
Apple Cider is one of my favorite things about fall. Whether it’s served hot or cold, nothing feels like fall to me then having a cup of apple cider. To keep things kid and family friends, I poured just the apple cider into a decanter so anyone can drink it.
Then off to the side, I placed different liqueurs that could be added to make an adult beverage. This is also a great tip, because friends can make drinks to their own liking 🙂
I think one of the main things you can do to any type of serving station is add decor. So many times I see this element left out, and it’s the added details that really make it appealing.
I used dried spanish moss for added texture around my pumpkins and gourds instead of traditional spider webs or transparent netting.
Lastly, I used my favorite Schoolhouse Chalkboard, from our curated collection with Painted Fox as the background to really emphasize my theme. I love incorporating chalkboards, whether it’s a greeting or recipe, they help add to the decor with a big impact.
I am so excited to be teaming up with Wayfair again to share this post with you in video! You can catch it now on You Tube HERE. Feel free to shop the post below.
