Favorite Fall Décor and Accents I’m Loving This Year

I have been slowly transitioning our home from summer into fall, one small area at a time. I’m not in a hurry to bring out every fall decoration or completely change each room in a single afternoon. Instead, I’ve been paying attention to the pieces that make our home feel a little warmer, cozier, and more layered as the season begins to change.

This year, I’m especially drawn to fall décor that feels collected rather than overly seasonal. Warm brown tones, timeworn brass, classic patterns, soft knits, and a few nature-inspired accents can bring that unmistakable feeling of fall into a room without taking away from the way your home looks the rest of the year.

Today, I’m sharing a recent roundup of the fall décor and accents I’m currently loving. Many of these pieces could be used well beyond autumn, which is always something I consider when adding anything new to our home.

There is something about the first hint of fall that makes me want to slow down and pay closer attention to home. The mornings begin to feel a little cooler, the light starts to change, and the trees slowly trade their summer greens for warmer shades of gold and rust.

Fall never arrives all at once in nature. It unfolds little by little, one subtle change at a time. And over the years, I’ve found that this is also my favorite way to welcome fall into our home.

Instead of setting aside an entire day to completely transform every room, I like to let the season arrive slowly. I focus on one area at a time, making small changes as I feel inspired. It takes the pressure out of seasonal decorating and allows me to enjoy each part of the process.
