Hello Friends!!! I am so excited to kick off this week with Jennifer Rizzo’s Holiday Housewalk!! This is my 4th year joining in this festive virtual holiday home tour, and I am so excited to be here! It was dream of mine from the very beginning of my blogging days to be able to join Jen’s infamous Holiday Housewalk tour, and every year I am so grateful to be in it.
If you are stopping over from Kelly’s tour than welcome!! Kelly has such a fun whimsical touch, and I love how she mixes in her vintage finds in her decor!
You can see Kelly’s tour HERE, and also start at the beginning of the Holiday Housewalk HERE. Each day will be a new set of bloggers continuing on with the tour, so be sure to follow along all week.
Let’s get started with this years Christmas tour!
As I’ve been decorating for Christmas this year, it’s been fun to look back over the past years and see how much my Christmas decor style has changed, and yet some things at the core are still so very much the same!
I love loading our couch with lots of cozy texture in throw pillows and blankets, and especially love classic pillows that can stay out after Christmas too! The snowflake pillow is from HomeGoods last year, and these cozy plaid pillows and tasseled lumbar pillow are from Jolie Marche! I just loved her winter collection this year, she has SO many cute designs to choose from, it was so hard to decide on which ones I had to have, lol! P.S. I’m offering a GIVEAWAY to win TWO pillow covers HERE, and you can see her whole line HERE.
I love decorating with trees – any kind that is. Bottle brush trees, and table top trees. Tiny little wooden trees, and shiny mercury glass trees – I love them all. It’s a running joke in our house, and one year my husband counted over 100 different trees!
That was a couple years ago, and I am not letting him recount again, HA! I don’t know what it is about them, but I just love placing them on top of bookshelves, and in little vignettes throughout our home.
I joke that it doesn’t quite feel like Christmas until I’ve hung fresh garland on our staircase. I picked up this cute little antique drop-leaf table off of Facebook this past fall, and love how it looks placed at the bottom of our staircase. The turned legs is what grabbed my attention right away ๐
I created a simple holiday vignette with some shiny trees, tiny metal houses from Target, and these adorable glass tree votives I picked up from Purple Rose Home, when I went and visited their Holiday Open House. I couldn’t resist them!
In my kitchen I carried the same colors throughout. Fresh greens, creamy whites, and shiny ornaments in champagne and mercury glass colors.
I hung my favorite little “Coffee + Tree” hanging canvas, from Vol. 25, on my plate rack wall, and I love how it pops up against my wooden cutting board. This one was from a previous collection last year, but you can see all the wall hangings she has available in this years collection HERE.
Above the bench we use in our kitchen entryway, is my favorite new addition to my Christmas decor! This “Snow Typography” canvas from Lindsay Letters. It’s the perfect statement to get me in the holiday spirit, and I love that I can leave it up all winter long.
Our open shelves are hanging just to the right of the bench in our kitchen, and while most of the pieces you see on them get used everyday, I love decorating these shelves for christmas!
I shared more of our shelves in our kitchen decorated for Christmas HERE. You can see lots of close ups of the tiny vignettes and details I created on the shelves.
Next up on the Holiday Housewalk tour is Dear Lillie. Jenni’s home was one of the first I followed when I started blogging. I love her decor so much, and I think you will too!

hey girl- love your home! so pretty!
Megan says
How did you have your fresh garland like that? With twine to tie? Thank you!
Bre says
I used green floral wire to make the garland, and to attach it to my banister ๐ I just wrap the cedar to make the garland, then once it’s hung I add in different branches to embellish it ๐

Gah! Looooove it all, Bre! Your house is like Christmas and a spa had a baby. Haha! Cheerful and cozy but soothing and peaceful at the same time. It’s like a breath of fresh air.

hi bre, i love the tour. I love that step stool. Where do I find a wood one like that one? And, that FB steal with the table. Awesome! Merry Christmas, laura
Bre says
Thank you SO much Laura!! I got the wooden stool years ago at IKEA, but they still carry it ๐ And most recently painted it green from the Magnolia Paint collection found at Target. And yes, that antique table I found on FB marketplace! Seriously my most favorite find ๐ Merry Christmas to you too!!
