So last week I introduced Phase 1.
This came with a brand new look, including new background,
new cover photo, new icons, new text color,
but I told you there would be a Phase 2 coming.
Realistically there will be lots of more small updates and new additions
to the blog along the way, as I continue to get things in place.
But this next thing is something I’m very passionate about
and is very personal to me.
It’s something that has been 15 years in the making,
and a dream always in my heart.
I’m so excited to share this with you, and proud to introduce :
Doucette Design
Which you will now notice the new logo in the top right of the blog.
We are still in the ground breaking phase,
but so excited to share the journey with you.
Ever since I was a preteen I loved the thought of dreaming up new design plans,
and picking out interior furnishings.
I can remember my dad letting us each pick out a new computer game
for the new cutting edge computer,
back when Gateway surged and there were cow boxes everywhere.
While my sisters chose something fun,
I chose the interior decorating software 🙂
I was fourteen.
The dream started way before that,
but I have always loved looking through house magazines, and floor plans,
coming up with ideas on how I would transform that space.
So it’s no wonder that now, all those years later, I am finally making those dreams a reality.
With the amazing encouragement and help of my husband,
family members, and friends,
I can’t wait to share with you what’s coming up,
and give you a more inside scoop on
Doucette Design.
It took me a long time to finally take the leap,
so I had to share with you some quotes that really helped motivate me to finally
make this dream a reality.
Which my dad always told us to do!
And finally, the one that turned these thoughts into action:
I wanted to include those, because they really forced me to think about my choices
and decisions to turn this “dream” into something “real”
Do you have something you are wanting to start?
It could be big or little,
but will you take the first step?
Or hold off?
DO IT!
You can only better yourself by trying,
and you might just like what you become 🙂
Stay tuned for more updates as this dream becomes a reality.
~Blessings,
Bre
