While I would hardly call it Spring around here,
despite our longer days,
it is fastly approaching!
{Right?! I sure hope so!}
I have had little motivation to pull out my small spring decor,
especially with another snow storm coming tomorrow!
However,
I wanted to share with you some of my favorite items
in stores now,
to decorate my table top for spring!

Creating a layered Table Top might seem like a daunting task to some,
but for me it’s much easier than creating a “layered” room,
because you have one task in front of you:
Your Table.
but for me it’s much easier than creating a “layered” room,
because you have one task in front of you:
Your Table.
First I start with your basic needs:
Plates.
And while we are here,
lets pair them with some cute chargers or place mats as well.
My first choice:
I’ve had my eye on these white plates from Target for quite a while.
Paired with a cute natural charger, like these from Pier 1,
they’re sure to hold their ground on any table.
I also like these other 2 selections for plates
{both from Target as well}
for a cute spring table setting.
I also adore this scalloped wooden charger from Pier 1 as well!
I think you could mix and match any of these place settings,
and the best part is,
they are all neutral enough, you can use them throughout the year,
or for any special occasion.

Next would be adding a few seasonal decor critters,
to subtly celebrate spring.
All of these are from Pier 1’s adorable 2013 spring line.
I’ve never been huge on bunnies,
but oh my,
these last ones are my favorite!
Trying to decide if I want to scoop them up before Easter this year,
or wait until the go on sale after Easter!

Above are some great examples of layering your Table for Easter,
or any Spring celebration.

And lastly,
if bunnies and carrots aren’t your thing,
Adding simple greenery,
with pops of yellow,
is a great way to add touches of spring decor throughout your house.

to add spring around the house,
and keep your eyes out for this years decor,
hopefully happening soon!
