Pinecones, Mercury Glass & Greenery Christmas Tour {2013}

12/16/2013 By Bre

16 Dec

I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe we are down to the last week before Christmas, already! I’ve started my christmas shopping, but am no where near finished. UGH! I have had so much fun this year soaking in all this holiday season has to offer. I’ve had the honor of decorating other homes than just mine, which has felt like one big christmas celebration week after week. I’ve completed almost everything on my Christmas Bucket List, with the rest lined up to be completed this week. You know, listen to christmas music, bake christmas cookies, go sledding, christmas parties, and much more! Today the Nester is kicking off her holiday home tour link up, so I thought it was a good day to share mine. I love her motto “It doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful” for christmas this year. I scaled back even more this year, to really focus in on my favorite christmas decor, and challenged myself to not buy a single new decor item, which I almost executed exclusively. My color theme this year (and from now on I believe) is greenery, pinecones (glittery too), and mercury glass. So I will stop chatting now, and just let you take a (virtual) walk through our house for Christmas 2013. Enjoy!

I figured I would just let the pictures do the talking, and I will leave you with the quote on the silver tray from the last photo : “As we gather together may our hearts be grateful and glasses be full”.

Merry Christmas!!

    Gorgeous! Your home is so beautiful. I love the fresh, light colors you use. I would love to have light furniture but am deathly afraid it would be ruined in 30 seconds. Merry Christmas!
