Favorite Fall Decor Items - Rooms For Rent blog

I know I’ve already shared with you some of my favorite fall inspiration photos. But today I wanted to share with you some of my go to decor items I bring out for fall, or look for when I’m shopping for a client. Texture is one of the biggest ways to create a cozy space, and fall is all about cozy. By doing a quick swap on a few things throughout my house, I’ve changed over for the new season in no time.

First thing I go to swap out are my hand soaps and candles. I know sounds simple enough, and its really easy, but once I start smelling those fall scents, it gets me in the mood to decorate for fall even if the temps outside aren’t quite feeling like fall yet!

This is a new fall scent for Bath & Body Works this year, and it has me craving a Pumpkin Spice Latte every time I wash my hands!!! Another favorite scent is Autumn Wreath by Yankee Candle.

There is nothing more fall for me when it comes to candles.

Now that I have my head in gear from smelling my favorite fall scents, the next thing I go to is swapping out pillow covers, and bringing out cozy throw blankets.

I love cuddling up soft blankets on crisp fall mornings and cool fall evenings.

Other than bringing in your typical fall decor and pumpkins galore, sometimes just bringing in simple nature gives your home the feeling of fall. Along with nature, I love hanging up wreaths of natural material. This cute curled wood wreath is a perfect option for fall, that could carry you through to christmas too!

Sometimes just changing out to warmer tones and hues throughout your home is enough for cozy fall to speak. Bringing in wood tones, or warm metallics remind us of the changing season without screaming orange.
