I am so excited to be sharing this decor item with you today as part of the Decor Steals Design Ingenuity! I have had my eye on the look out for one of these vintage tobacco baskets for years, but unfortunately I think it’s an item more commonly found in the south. So when Decor Steals asked if I would like to help share one of their new products, I was thrilled when I found out what that product was! If you aren’t familiar with Decor Steals, they are a website that offers discounted home decor products on a time related sales event! I’ve gotten some vintage Olive Buckets from them before at a fraction of the price Pottery Barn sells them for. So if you have certain antique finds you are on the look out for their e-mail list is great, because you never miss a sale.
I always keep my eye out for what they have!! I can’t wait for you to see these beautiful tobacco baskets we are sharing today! I decided to hang them in my dining room, because their patina complimented my gray washed dresser so well.
To add a little pop of white to the space, I hung some white plates on the wall on either side of the stacked baskets. It also ties in the rest of the white accents I have throughout our dining room.
One of the other things I loved about these shallow baskets, is they are perfect for collecting fresh flowers or veggies from your garden. I have a row of hydrangea bushes in our backyard, and they produce so many flowers, I didn’t have anything that could hold all of my clippings without damaging some of the stems. These shallow baskets are perfect for collecting my flowers.
Now for the fun part! Part of the Decor Steals Design Ingenuity, I get to team up with one of my blogging friends for more inspiration with these beautiful tobacco baskets!! And today, Decor Steals will be giving away ONE set of these fabulous tobacco baskets, and TWO $50 gift cards on their Facebook page (Post goes live at 10am)!
Make sure you visit Heather’s blog – Whipperberry, to see how she styled her tobacco baskets, I’m sure you will be inspired even more with this versatile decor! To grab your own set of baskets, you can visit the sale here!
