Happy Monday Friends!!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I had something pretty amazing happen over the weekend on Instagram, and I will be back tomorrow to share more on that. Don’t worry it’s nothing ground shaking, we aren’t getting our own HGTV show (because that seems to be the trend lately), but something to me on a much deeper level, and I can’t wait to share more on that tomorrow. Speaking of Instagram thought, I have another installment of Houses on Instagram! With so many blogs out there these days, it’s not as common for you to cross paths as much as it was in the earlier days of blogging. That’s another reason I love instagram. You can cross paths with so many people you might of never seen online, but in this closer knit community of people, some blog, some don’t, but we are all there with one common purpose. We love home decor, and encouraging one another. That’s why I started this series. To share beautiful homes with all of you, that I found from Instagram, and have grown to love their feeds, and the beautiful people behind them.
Today I’m sharing Anissa from House Seven Design. I don’t even remember how I stumbled upon her feed, but I was lost to world for days the second I did! She fills her home with beautiful texture, great design choices, and of course – farmhouse flair! Let’s start with the kitchen :
Of course I feel like I could list for days some many of the lovely details in this space, but I’d rather keep the talking to a minimal so you can just soak in all of this loveliness. When I first started following her, the breakfast nook looked like this below:
But now has a fun sputnik light, and the round table was replaced with a farmhouse style table, you will have to visit her blog to see, it is so fun!
Her living room is open to the kitchen, which I just love! She marries the two spaces together so well!
Finally, someone who loves throw pillows as much as I do!! I’m always keeping my eye out for what she swaps them to next.
Her white planked walls had me at hello. They add so much character to the space.
Next up is the dining room, with it’s board and batten walls, beautiful gray colored walls, and sliding barn door, it’s sure to not disappoint!
Here in their master bedroom you see that beautiful gray color again, but she recently re-did the room, and I think you love the new design just as much!

In her office, you see more lovely planked walls, and also peeking into the space is an entire chalkboard wall!!
Last up is her beautiful loft space. Do you catch the re-accuring theme in all her spaces. Of course they are beautifully decorated, but they are full of layers and texture! Two things that make any space come to life.
I highly recommend you visit her blog, because there were so many great spaces I didn’t share, including her kids rooms! The are perfectly whimsy, but not overly “kid-like”. And be sure to follow her on IG (@housesevenblog), so you can catch all of her latest room transformations!
