I will be the first to admit, awhile back when I thought about decorating with wall paper I immediately thought of the 70’s and 80’s wall paper that we instantly remove when updating a space. However, wallpaper has come a long way, and can also be the easiest way to add your own personal signature to your space. Whether it’s permanent or removable, there are a lot of options with wall paper now. It’s no longer that dated wall covering we all cringe at the sight of. I know there are still some people who stop me dead in my tracks if I mention adding wall paper, so I wanted to do a round up and show you some beautiful ways wall paper can be added to enhance your decor. I also have a FUN giveaway at the end with Graham & Brown wallpaper, so stay tuned!!
I love this entire wall covered. It really transforms the space, and takes centerstage as the main focal point in the room.
Maybe your not quite ready to cover a whole wall? But still want to try your hand at decorating with wall paper? Adding wall paper to only a portion of the wall, is a great way to add it, without covering an entire room.
I love the sweet presence of this floral wall paper, without completely taking over the space. Here is another great example with the same wallpaper, but instead creating an accent wall. It really highlights the wallpaper as a focal point in the design.
One wall too much for you? Try installing wallpaper about wainscoting or board & batten for a subtle feel that not only adds in some fun, it highlights your molding as well.
Or perhaps just do a bump out, or nook in a room. Similar to what we did in our daughters bedroom makeover.
Perhaps maybe now you are itching to decorate with wallpaper now?? Just looking at this photos I’m instantly inspired to tackle another project. Good News! I’ve teamed up with Graham & Brown to offer a fantastic GIVEAWAY! One lucky winner will receive $200 worth of Graham & Brown wallpaper of your choice! So exciting right! Enter below for your chance to win, and Good Luck!!
