I love finding new homes oozing with farmhouse style. I think it’s no secret around here that I love anything with a farmhouse flair, and I’m sure you probably feel the same way, which is why you are here or why you stick around my little corner of the web. When I started this blog “farmhouse style” was yet to be considered a term, but I think it has poured a strong foundation over the last year or so in the world of interior design. To continue to share my love for farmhouse style homes, I wanted to create a home tour series where I share with you a “new-to-me” home that oozes with charm and character, and quite frankly I just can’t get enough of!
So today we are kicking off a new series where almost every Friday I will share with you a farmhouse style home tour that has me smitten, and think you will be too! Sounds like fun right?! So lets get started.
Today, I’m so excited to introduce you to Annie of Liv + grace{restored}. You can find Annie on Instagram and Facebook sharing her beautiful home and furniture makeovers. Along with having a knack for interior design, Annie’s style is full of farmhouse flair. With it’s casual feel, slipcovered furniture, and splashes of classic black & white.
Her chippy coffee table is the perfect accent to the crisp white slip covers. I love all the character it has, and the charm it adds to the space.
Shiplap is a signature to add to any farmhouse look, and I love the classic black and white pieces she chose to complete the look.
Her dining room is full of charm and character, from the vintage chandelier down to the farmhouse table.
Annie attributes her homes style to always having a love for interior design, however, as her style has changed over the years from getting married and having 3 children, she finds herself drawn to the simplicity of neutral spaces as her kids get older and life gets busier.
Annie paints furniture and makes amazing farmhouse style signs and sells her pieces at a local booth, here in New England.
Many of the items you see in her home she has either created or restored to bring it back to life in one way shape or form 🙂
The reclaimed wood on her island get me every time! They are pure perfection, just like the rest of her space!
Anthropologie may no longer carry their famous begonia wall paper, but that didn’t stop Annie from recreating the look, by hand painting the design on her walls. I had no idea it wasn’t wallpaper until she told me she painted it herself, I was so impressed!
I love the dramatic feel dark walls add to the master bedroom. I’m always find myself drawn to rooms like this, probably just as much as I’m drawn to light and bright.
More shiplap on the walls create the perfect backdrop for their simple gallery wall.
I hope you have enjoyed touring Annie’s home as much I have, and be sure to follow her on Instagram(@livandgracerestored_) and on Facebook to keep up to date with all the latest creations and farmhouse goodness. Happy Friday Friends!

I have often wondered what my style was but after reading your blog I realize you nailed it it’s farmhouse Beachy. Everything that I see on your post is exactly what I was going for. Thanks for the inspiration. My most difficult issue was finding the right paint colors to tie it all together.
