I know I don’t usually share outfits or fashion here on the blog. One of my very first posts was about about fashion, and I think that was last. I don’t consider myself a fashionista, but I do like putting outfits together that are go along with my style, and definitely have a soft spot for accessories. I think anyone who has met me would agree, I don’t dress for trendy, but I do like to be comfortably in style. So I put together a little mood board of one of my favorite fall outfits. August is usually about the time I start craving cooler weather so I can bust out my vest and scarves and boots!
I tend to take a casual approach to my outfits. I like to be comfortable but look put together if you will. And I think this outfit represents all of that. Casual comfort but with a preppy twist. It’s a mix of all my favorite pieces, yet oh-so-comfortable.

We already have mums showing up at the stores, and I’ve already spotted some leaves turning colors. School starts in 2 weeks for us, and with the Apple Picking, fall candles, pumpkin spice latte’s just to name a few of the things I am looking forward too!

Cute outfit! I’m always ready by September to break out my fall outfits but alas it’s still too hot here…October or November has to get here before it cools off enough for long sleeves or layers. Mums are showing up already though. And we’ve had rain this past week that has dropped our temperatures to more of a fall feel (for around here). I have to keep reminding myself it’s still August and we have plenty of 90+degree days left. :o) Thanks for sharing your cute outfit.
