One of things I like to do is celebrate with my peers when they have something to get excited about! I think in this creative business it can be hard some times to stay focused, and not compare to what so-and-so is doing, so I like to take every opportunity I can to celebrate some one else’s success. After all I did just recently talk about this, and shared this quote on how to :
When we choose to celebrate we take the focus off of ourselves and place it on an outward focus, which is where we should be. So I love to celebrate, not just so I don’t become jealous, but because honestly, I truly am genuinely excited when a peer accomplishes something wonderful. If you are an avid reader here, than I can pretty much guarantee we have one thing in common. We are passionate about home. Yes, yes of course home decor, but not just home decor, all things home! That’s what led me join in teaching this course last year. 
My friend Melinda from House 214 Design has created a wonderful online course for anyone who loves to decorate their home. I’ve shared Melinda’s home with you before HERE, actually almost exactly one year ago to the day! I love her classic approach to farmhouse style, and her essence for celebrating home.
