Chunky Knit Throw Blanket

Hi Friends!! Thank you so so much for all your kind words about our Christmas tour yesterday!!! They truly mean the world to me. I’ve been stuck serving jury duty this week, so I haven’t had a chance to reply to each one, but have truly loved reading each and every one of them! Many of you commented on the lovely blue touches I carried throughout our decor, and I have to say I was  a little nervous at first, especially trying to find just the right shade. But I’m so glad I stuck with it, and love the added pop of color it brings. I’ll be sharing details about our christmas decor over the next couple weeks, but I wanted to share with you about this amazing new chunky knit throw blanket you saw in our living room!

It’s from Artizen Home, and they make them in a wide variety of colors. Of course I loved the white, because not only does it go so well with the rest of our living room, but it adds texture! If you’ve been following for awhile, you know how much I love texture, and I love adding it to our spaces. 

To me texture is a “color” you can’t live without. So many times when our rooms feel like they are feeling flat, it’s because they lack texture. 

So even though technically the chair and this chunky knit throw blanket are the same color, the texture from the blanket adds layers and dimension, not to mention it makes the chair more inviting to sit in. And you are seeing the color comparison correctly. It is slightly off white – natural if you will- because they don’t use any dyes.

And I promise you it is just as lovely in person as it appears here in these photos. Not to mention it’s heavy. And in the bitter cold winter months we have here in the northeast, nothing beats curling up under a warm blanket that also has some weight to it!
