Hi Friends! The turkey was stuffed, and now so are we! Did you survive? I hope your heart and tummies are still full from Thanksgiving well spent. There is something so magical that happens when we all gather around the table, and take time to have conversation with one another. Since it’s Black Friday, (which this year seemed to turn into an all week event?), I wanted to share some of things I have my eye on for gifts this year. Let’s be honest, whenever I do a little Christmas shopping I always end up throwing a thing or three in my cart for me. Since I have no desire to leave my house and brave the crowds, my goal is take advantage of some of the online sales this weekend. Ladies, we have been good all year. Now it’s time to get ourselves a gift we’ve been admiring all year! I have been eyeing this jacket all year.
I’ll be honest jackets aren’t something I buy frequently, so when I find one I like, it needs to last a long time. So when this one hit 40% during these black friday sales, that was all the motivation I needed. Much like my home decor, it’s a classic style, in a neutral color, that will definitely keep me warm. And when I was catching up on this weeks Fixer Upper from their new season, I noticed Joanna Gaines had on the same one! So I’d like to say a common thread of great taste runs between us.
A lot of time friends ask me when I buy decor for my home. There are two times out of the year I will splurge on something I’ve been wanting for our home. Black Friday, and usually right after Christmas. It’s usually when I can find the best sales. Last year I splurged and bought these new frames for our gallery wall around our tv, and I LOVE them.
Christmas is one of the only times I will splurge on a home decor item I’ve been wanting for awhile. Well lets be honest, ANY item that I’ve had my eye on for awhile. Sometimes I will ask for it specifically as a gift when people ask what I want, and sometimes I will just gift it to myself, and I may or may not tell the hubby, lol.
