It’s no secret that I love creating Tablescapes. So when my friends Alicia from A Burst of Beautiful reached out to me to join her and some other blogging friends to share a Spring Tablescape, I jumped at the chance. I love coordinating plates and bowls and silverware with some fun florals to create a welcoming table. In fact when I’m working on my place settings, it’s very much like coordinating outfits. It’s fun to switch things up, and pair plates with different bowls, similar to pairing up jeans with a different top. There are so many options. For this spring tablescape I pulled out some of my tried and trues – think your favorite pair of jeans, with some fun new bowls in a pretty blue pattern that feel oh-so fresh for spring!
I love decorating with blues, and even though I stick to more blues in the summer, I don’t discriminate and only keep these cool tones for a certain season. I’ve used these blue goblets in a Christmas tablescape before too. You can see it HERE, and I think that just goes to show that no matter what time of the year it is, you just decorate with whatever speaks to you!
Because I love using pops of green, especially in spring time, I tucked in a sprig of bay leaf in with the napkin.
These blue bowls from Target practically jumped right off the shelf and into my cart, {well at least that’s what I told my husband :P} but once I set them up there was no going back. They really were the jumping off of point for inspiration for creating this table.
The twig chargers are one of my all-time favorites, especially in spring. I love how mush texture and interest they add. They are a staple for sure, and can be found in my curated collection with Painted Fox.
I used some recycled glass jars to create a simple centerpiece. By staggering them down the table they give the illusion that there is more flowers than there really is. It’s a great way to spread out your flowers, by making it appear there are more flowers rather than if I had put them all in one vase in the middle of the table, and it gives you more bang for your buck too!
I’ll be back tomorrow to share how I’ve decorated our living room for Spring, but in the meantime be sure to visit my friends dining rooms below! They are just the prefect touch for spring!

Your tablescape is stunning and so delicate and springy. Just wondering about the paperwhites in the white urn? Looking for a faux version of the flowers in an urn just like that:)

Hi Denise! I shared all about those paper whites in the urn here – https://roomsforrentblog.com/2018/03/diy-faux-potted-plants/, and YES they are faux ๐

I think you may have forgotten to link your pictures. Usually there is a “Read More” at the bottom of your text that takes us to your full site.

Thank you for letting me know. I’ve been having some issues lately with the links not applying when I put them in. I think it’s fixed now, but appreciate the heads up ๐
