Hello friends!! You may have heard me say this once or twice before, but I love throwing open the windows and doors in our house, and letting that warm summer breeze blow through our house. It’s so refreshing, but there’s one thing that tends to blow in that I’m not a fan of. As much as I love all that summer brings, I do not like the summer bugs that come with it. I realize that a summer without bugs is pretty much impossible, especially in the country, but there is something that makes it alittle easier to deal with. If you’re like me you probably don’t realize you need something to kill those pesky flies until you go to reach for it and it’s not there! I know I’m guilty of that!
Well not anymore, my friends from Farmhouse Pottery have the best new product, it’s called Swattah. I even love the name, ha ha. The best part, in my mind, is that it’s nice enough to have out, which makes it super convenient when you hear that buzzing go by your head!
They have a few different styles, each one perfectly unique. Mine is called the Huntsman Swatter. I thought it was perfect since my husband is an avid hunter.
I never think about grabbing a fly swatter when I’m at the store, never! It’s so bad, and honestly the designer in me can’t stand to see them out in peoples kitchens. I swear I start to twitch, lol.
I’m telling you not anymore. Not only is the Swattah hand crafted here in in the US. It’s made with hand cut leather and lathe turned so the quality really stands out.
I even like it hanging on my plate rack wall, you can see it in the background. And that way it’s right at arms reach when I need it, which is so convenient.
Right now Farmhouse Pottery is giving one away, and honestly it’s the perfect gift to throw in with Fathers Day too. My dad has always been one of noticing quality, and I didn’t even point out my new Swattah, he was drawn right to it, lol! Dad – I got you, I read your signals loud and clear.
You can join the **GIVEAWAY** on Instagram (click HERE). I shared one of these photos yesterday, just look for the post, and read the instructions below to enter. It’s so easy, I promise, and I asked people to tell me their funniest bug stories, oh my word it’s hilarious! Even if you don’t need a Swattah, you need to read these stories for a good laugh 🙂
