Hello Friends!! First of all I have to say, I had every intention of getting this posted on Friday, but we had one thing after another come up, and there just weren’t enough hours in the week to get all that I needed done between work and family. With back to school this week, and soccer practice starting up, we are trying to squeeze in the last bit of our summer bucket list. I’m so glad to have these precious memories with the kids home this summer, and I’ll be sharing more on that soon. But for now, I am so excited to share this weeks Farmhouse Style Home Tour with you!
A recently new to me feed on Instagram is Kay from Once Upon a 1912! She has a beautiful farmhouse style, and I was smitten right away, and think you will be too!
With a welcome like that, how can you not want to go in and check out Kay’s cute farmhouse?! Her bright, big entryway greets you right away, and I love how cheerful it feels with the fun teal paint color on the front door.
Off of one side of her entryway you see right into the dining room. A clean, crisp palette complemented with lots of warm texture from the jute rug to the wicker chairs, to the woven shades. It’s a great way to make neutral feel not-so-boring.
I love how she’s pieced together her dining room set. It’s my favorite way to put together a set, so it feels more collected over time, instead of too matchy-matchy.
Kay makes the best ouse of her galley kitchen. It’s full of farmhouse details, yet clean and functional. Just the way a kitchen should be decorated.
Who doesn’t love a sink full of fresh farmhouse flowers!?!
On the other side of entryway is her living room, and I love how bright and airy it feels.
Her den is just as cozy and inviting as her living room, which you can see below.
Her laundry room has the perfect amount of farmhouse charm. It’s so simple and clean, and ship lap walls give it all the character it needs.
She’s also has such an inviting outdoor space. I would want to spend all day out here on her patio!
