Hello Friends! It was cold here yesterday, windy and in the low 50’s, which definitely helped it feel like fall has arrived. While I’m not ready for it to be quick that cold, it was sure a reminder that fall is here, and summer is now behind us, and what a great time to switch things up seasonally on our porch! Today I’m excited to be joining a group of 25 bloggers who are also sharing their fall porch tours today!

Here is this years simple fall porch.
I went for a monochromatic theme with my pumpkins on our porch this year. And honestly I think it’s probably my most favorite yet! I used mostly white pumpkins, and then added in a few cinderella (pale blue) pumpkins and some squash in dark greens to add variety.
I filled two planters, and placed them on either side of my bench. Then I scattered my pumpkins and squash to fill in around them.
I just used simple black plastic planters for either side of the bench. Since I was covering most of them by putting pumpkins all around, I just needed something simple, that added a little bit of height.
I filled the each planter with ‘Autumn Joy’ Sedum, cabbage, and some dusty miller. I made both of them identical, because I like the symmetry it adds to both sides of the bench.
I placed an urn near our main entry door, to greet guests as they arrive! To keep things simple I filled the urn with 1 cabbage, 1 kale, and then a cluster of smaller white pumpkins to tie in with the other white pumpkins scattered about.
I placed another urn, filled the same way, at the opposite end of our porch as bookends for each end of the porch.

Such a pretty palette. Love your bench. Do you remember where you purchased it?
Bre says
Ohh Thank you so much Debby! I got the bench from Wayfair, and I love it! It’s so sturdy, and a tiny bit deeper than most benches, which I love the extra seating room it offers.

I found the same one on Joss & Main for slightly less – here is my shoppable link : https://rstyle.me/n/cm732mzdwn

Hi Laura! We did paint our porch a couple years ago. The base of it is concrete, and we painted over it using a deck paint by Rustoleum, I believe
