Whether this is your first time visiting, or you’ve been a regular reader for a while, it’s no secret I love creating tablescapes! Honestly they are probably just about my most favorite thing to do ever, and I’m so excited to be participating in todays Season of Home series – Fall Tablescapes,ย hosted by Kristen from Ella Claire. This past spring we expanded our outdoor patio area, and transformed what was once over grown weeds and debris into this outdoor eating area. We have been fully enjoying this new space all summer long, and I’m so excited to continue to use it this fall, as we gather for chillier nights around the fire.
You can see more of this area in my Spring Patio Tour, and where it is in relation to our other outdoor spaces. We are thoroughly enjoying this new space, and how easy it is to entertain out here and dine under the patio lights!
To lighten things up, first I put down this white check linen tablecloth. I used this tablecloth at Christmas time, and seriously it’s so luxurious I pretty much use it at any chance I get. I love how placing a table cloth on my outdoor table makes things feel just a tiny bit more formal.
I love incorporating deeper, moody colors in fall. For me, it instantly makes things feel cozier because of the warmth the darker colors add. Black flatware and smokey charcoal wine glasses were used to add some of those darker colors I was craving , and contrast to the white tablecloth.
The newest addition to the patio area are these bistro chairs from Painted Fox! I got them over the summer, and knew they would be the perfect addition to add that cafe vibe to our patio dining area.
I grabbed these amber jars recently at Target. The come in three different sizes, and with lids for storage, but I thought they would work great as a cluster of vases. I love their deep amber color, and how they resemble antique amber bottles.

What a wonderful setting, just to sit and soak up the atmosphere would be a joy.

Love the dark silverware!!! My question is: does the coating chip off?Or is it very durable? I have been looking for a source for a long while…Maybe I could put this on my Christmas list!!! Gorgeous table setting and a very lovely outdoors also…..
