Hello Friends!! I’m so happy to be joining in another round of the Seasonal Simplicity Fall Series this week, this time sharing our fall decorated mantles or vignettes! Honestly, vignettes are my favorite thing to create – next to Tablescapes that is, I love creating smaller arrangements, and the flexibility to change it up as often as I feel, or leave it that way for months if I like. There is so much flexibility with it, and I like to think it’s the one thing I’ve been doing since I was 13, lol! The dresser turned buffet in our dining room is where I change out my decor seasonally the most. I love clearing it off completely and creating a new vignette every time. For fall I like to keep things pretty simple, stacked pumpkins are my go to, and I love how subtle these muted pumpkins bring in all the feels for fall.
If you caught my fall kitchen post, than you know this year I’m really drawn to these deeper blues and greens, and adding subtle touches for fall. Pumpkins hit the grocery stores just this past weekend here in NH, so of course I had to grab a few.
Technically these larger pumpkins are considered squash, who know? But they add just enough color with their muted tones, and my favorite to decorate with for fall.
Want to know a secret? The darker pumpkins are faux! Only until you pick them up, and realize they are light as a feather do you discover that they are not real, like the white and orange ones.
When clustered together no one would be the wiser 🙂
To add some height to my vignette, I brought in two of these amber jars. You can find them at Target with the Magnolia collection. They come with lids, and I believe are intended for bathroom storage, but I loved the size and the shape. So I took off the lids and filled them with some branches for fall.

So simple yet fabulous! Absolutely love the color palette and how you incorporated the amber jars with branches to add texture & height. Also, do you remember where you found the darker faux pumpkins? I love them & have been looking for something similar.
