I believe that everyone has a dream placed inside of them. I don’t think it matters what age you are, or your race or geographic location. I believe we were all born with a dream deep down inside of our hearts just waiting to come forth. I’ve been really feeling encouraged this past year to encourage women (and men) to chase their God-sized dreams, and not let fear of failure or other people scare them from walking into their full potential. Because I believe that when we are walking out in that God-sized dream we are walking in our fullest potential.
I shared my story HERE, about how I finally overcame my fear of not being good enough and started my own business, regardless of my lack of education, or knowledge in how to start your own business. It was scary, exhilarating, and believe me there are still times I don’t know what I’m doing. But here’s the thing – I started! That was HUGE! I put myself out there, unknowing, and believed that this girl from a tiny state could do big things.
I’m here to tell you that you too can chase down those dreams, that it’s not too late, you aren’t too old, you haven’t missed your chance, and that the fire inside you pushing you forward out of your comfort zone – trust it! Because it will lead you and guide you to your fullest potential in walking out that God-sized dream. Now you might not have the same faith I do, or believe in the same things I do, but the reason I call it a “God-sized dream” is because this passion of yours that’s deep down inside, that you might be the only person who knows about it yet, is big! So big, and crazy and wild and out there, that it has to be a “God-sized dream”!
I find peace in knowing that “God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called”, and I tell myself that every single time the dream feels too big or too scary. I am so thankful that He doesn’t ask us to have it all figured out, or even have all of the answers, but if we trust Him, he will guide us, and give us wisdom along the way.
Your heart strings might be being tugged right now as you read this, because you know deep down inside you have a big dream that is just waiting to come forth. I love that we all have dreams, and they are all so uniquely different and special, just like each one of us. Our dreams might not all be the same, but I believe sometimes our struggle can be. Tomorrow I’m sharing part of my journey in chasing my dream. How I took a huge leap in a direction that ended up not being the direction I wanted to take my business, and you know what – it’s ok! I think it’s important to hear other peoples stories and experiences, because it gives us courage to take a leap and put ourselves out there.
So if you haven’t read my story, I would encourage you to do so HERE. And I’ve also shared earlier this year about how I discovered my “WHY”, and how it’s so important to know that, because the dream doesn’t change, but the avenue in which we pursue it does. And if you are still struggling to know your dream, or chase down those passions, I would encourage you to check out this post HERE. Because there is room for all of us, and if we stay true to ourselves, we all have a unique gift to offer that no one else can.
I’m excited to share more with you, as we chase these dreams together, and hope you will come back to find out more – Stay Tuned!

Super post. I have followed my dreams but feel like I hit a brick wall and no way will it open.
