Every year after all the different seasonal decor post have been published, I like to go back through and round up a photo from each post to group together the look from the entire season. I don’t know about you, but I like having everything in one spot, where I can find all of that seasons decor posts, and then hop around from post to post if I choose. It’s also fun to see the overall theme all in one post, and I can share more on why I chose those colors, or decorated the way I did. So here is my fall decor round up for 2018 from the fall seasonal posts this year.In the living room, I brought in some cozier colors. Working with tans, hunter green and charcoal gray. It was all about adding in some warmth, and a pumpkin here or there.
Other than the pumpkins, I think my most favorite addition is always the seasonal clippings I gather from outside. I joke that I never leave home without my clippers, and it’s true! I will totally pull over on the side of the road to snip a few branches here and a few branches there to put in vases all around my house, and that’s exactly what I did this year.
In the dining room, I carried in the touches of nature by filling a tray with pumpkins – faux and real, on my table. It’s simple, and I love that it can be used for everyday decor that I don’t have to fix or fuss with.
I also took the leap and finally painted our dining room a darker color, and I am loving it!! You can read all about it HERE.
In the kitchen, I went for a minimalistic approach. I think because there really isn’t a whole lot of extra decor in my kitchen already, that when I do add a seasonal touch here or there it really stands out.
And outside I filled our farmers porch with with cool toned pumpkins for a monochromatic look. I bought mostly white pumpkins, and then brought in a few cinderella pumpkins and autumnal squash, keeping things all in the same color wheel house, just variating in different shades.
