Hello Friends! Thank you so so much for all your kind comments about my eclectic Christmas tablescape I shared yesterday. I have to say it felt a little on the wild side for me, but it was fun to try something different, and I’m glad it inspired so many of you too! You may have seen a little holiday bar cart in the background of the tablescape yesterday, with a beautiful piece of artwork on it, so today I’m going to share more that with you. I’m a firm believe that art inspires life, and having it sprinkled throughout your home is a great way to inspire creativity in your home as well.
This little side wall in our dining room sat empty for a very long time. The door to the right leads to my office / laundry room – i.e. the room that all the crap gets thrown in and nobody knows, because I can close the door. Picture a junk drawer exploding, lol, and that is what lies behind that door. But back to the pretty artwork that is next to it.
There are two types of artwork that I am particularly drawn to. Landscapes and Abstract. And this abstract from Lindsay Letters is just the amount of festive I was longing for in this corner. I mean it could be because it’s called the “Peppermint Moss” Abstract – found HERE, that has me dreaming of peppermint mocha, and feels somewhat reminiscent of sugar plum fairies?
But I love that it pops so beautifully up against my neutral walls. It was just the amount of color I needed , and totally brightens this little corner of our dining room right up!
I picked up this gold foil print from Lindsay Letters last year, and love it in this simple gold frame I found at HomeGoods. It’s classy, and festive, and gives me the feeling of a “grown up” christmas with it’s elegant touch.
Yes, typically a bar cart is used to house holiday spirits to make entertaining easy. And while this old bar tender loves to make a good cocktail, I wanted to style my bar cart a bit simpler. Also a great option for those who want to style a bar cart, but keep bottles out of reach for little kids 🙂
I used some of my favorite bottle brush trees, and a few white houses to showcase a little christmas village, and love that it feels festive for the holidays, without distracting from my beautiful new art piece.
Just in case you’re wondering, or want to get the same size. My Peppermint Moss Abstract is a 24×30 and wrapped in the gold gallery frame. The best part is it fits perfectly on my bar cart, so I have it just resting up against the wall for a more casual approach to hanging art work.
I love that you can see it throughout the whole room when you walk through, and it puts a smile on my face whenever I glance over at it 🙂
You can see my entire Eclectic Christmas Tablescape – HERE. And in case you missed the debut of my bar cart, you can see it HERE.
Be sure to stop by Lindsay Letters Art Bar and view her entire Holiday Collection. She has so many new pieces that are just stunning, and you may see a few more of her infamous pieces popping up in my christmas decor this year, and I could not be more excited!!

I do like the way you have the bar arranged. The Isaiah 9:6 looks so pretty in the frame. So do the big whales in the frame above.
