I don’t know about you, but I am finding that the older I get, the gifts I want most seem to be whatever I have my eye on that will make homemaking easier, lol. Sure it’s nice to get some new clothes or perfume, but I really want an upgrade to some of the appliances and household items I use on a daily basis. Don’t you find that when you have something that works really well, it feels less like a chore, and you are happier to tackle that to-do list? Maybe it’s just me, but I have a feeling I’m not the only one. Life is busy, and hectic, and I’ll take all the help I can get to be more efficient around our home, so I can spend more time cuddling on the couch with my kiddos. So I put together the ultimate gift guide of 21 gifts for mom, or any women for that matter, that she’ll really want!
I don’t know about you, but having the right tools to keep our house clean, helps me breathe a little easier when spills happen, or lets face it everyday dirt! The Bissell Spot Clean is top on my list this year, along with the Conair steamer. I hate having to get the ironing board out, in fact I avoid it at all costs, so I totally have my eye on this hand steamer. And honestly I’m not even thinking about using it for clothes first! I could get the wrinkles out of my slip covers faster, or my bed linens! Remember, I told you I’m getting old, lol!
I love to bake! Like, really LOVE to bake, and would never be disappointed in receiving some new baking goodies. It’s funny I always walk by these items in the stores but never buy them, because I think to myself “I already have cookie sheets and a spatula”, but lets just say they are from my first apartment, and have seen better days.
Speaking of help in the kitchen. I have a few small appliances that could use an upgrade.
If you are a mom, most likely you prepare most of the meals. Unless you are one of the lucky ones whose husband likes to cook. Most, in fact just about all of my cookware was a wedding gift. Which I am not complaining about at all, except now 15 years later, they have has their fair share of wear ‘n tear. Lets be honest, in those early days I was not the best in the kitchen, nor did I take care of my things the best either. Needless to say I’m ready for an upgrade, now that I have honed in on my cooking skills, and know a bit more in the kitchen, especially what kind of cookware I want to make things go even smoother.
Honestly, big or small, it doesn’t matter what size the appliance or gadget, updating or adding some of the things we use on a daily basis is always a welcomed gift in my mind, and practical too!
So if you are tired of getting mom the same pair of slippers or candle every year, I think you might find something here she is sure to love, and probably really wants too! And with most of these items found on Amazon, you can still get them in time for Christmas! {Hubby take note!}
And, if you are already done your Christmas shopping, Pin this post for next year, because these will not be going out of style anytime soon!
