Hello friends!! Happy Friday!! I’m so excited for todays post for two reasons!! First of all, it’s a tablescape, and creating tablescapes is just about my favorite thing to do. Secondly, I have some amazing friends who are joining me, and their beautiful ideas are so inspiring!! So let’s get this party started!
I love creating tablescapes, I think that’s no secret. As much as I love my own dining room, it’s fun when I get to switch things up. My friend Christi has a beautiful new home, she also made the amazing floral arrangement you see on the table, and I couldn’t wait to get over there and photograph some of her home!
I’m really loving this pale shade of light pink! I incorporated it in our Spring Home Tour, and in the flowers in my Easter tablescape, but it just feels like spring, and so perfect for any Mother’s Day gathering.
If you are hosting a special get-together this Mother’s Day, serving brunch is a great idea! It takes the pressure off of having to coordinate an entire meal, and you can have your guests bring their favorite brunch dish.
I love that brunch can be casual, or a little elegant, but with so many great recipes that you can make in advance, like an egg strata recipe, or coffee cake, you don’t have to be a slave to kitchen the day of.
To make serving easy, group together yummy treats that are only an arms reach away. This means less getting up from the table to go back and forth to the kitchen, so you can sit and relax, and enjoy this special occasion!
I used THIS shiny gold silverware for an added elegant touch. It balances out the more casual galvanized chargers, and the rustic wood table, without making the table feel too fussy.
This beautiful floral arrangement that Christi made takes centerstage. I call her my floral guru, and you’ve seen her work before over the years in other tablescapes I’ve created, but I just love this mix she created!
I love cupcakes! And these lemon cupcakes in dusty pink ramekins were a fun way to make individual sized treats, that also coordinate with the pale pink napkins used, both from HomeGoods!

Those flowers are amazing. We try to picnic in the beach for mother’s day. I love watching the kids explore the tidal pools finding little treasures.
