Hello Friends and Happy Friday!! I’m so excited about today, because I am kicking off this years Farmhouse Style Home Tour Series for the summer! I started this series a couple years ago, and during the summer months, every Friday, I share a different Farmhouse Style Home Tour that I love and think will inspire you! I love home decor, and anything farmhouse style, and this is such a fun way to share both with you! Not that I don’t love to share my home with you, but there are so many different styles when it comes to farmhouse, and I love seeing what other people do, and admire it so much – I just have to share!
So kicking off the first farmhouse style home tour this summer with us is Kaley from the Little White Farmhouse!
I got to meet Kaley, in real life, this past November at a holiday open house at the Purple Rose Home, the cutest little home decor shop 🙂 It was so much fun getting to chat in real life, seriously Kaley is just the sweetest, and I’m thrilled I get to share a fellow New Englander’s home on here with all of you!
If you follow Kaley on Instagram, than you may recognize the first photo above! it is such a beautiful shot in her home of that amazing vintage cabinet, and of course her gallery wall going up her staircase!
It stops me in my tracks every time I see it when I’m scrolling, and I just love how she perfectly put together old windows and signs and little frames to create this beautiful eclectic gallery wall!
She shares the transformation on her blog, but you would never know that Kaley’s house was built in 2008! She did an amazing job turning it into the vintage farmhouse you see today, seriously you have got to check it out!
Her kitchen underwent one of the biggest transformations, you can see the before & after HERE, where she shares the process throughout the whole house, but seriously when you get to the part about her kitchen, it’s unrecognizable how she took a modern kitchen, and turned into the farmhouse kitchen you see below!
Talk about character~
Of course, her staircase isn’t the only place she’s created an amazing gallery wall. I love how she filled the walls behind her family room sectional, notice how it still feels light and airy, and not too cluttered. She has mastered the balance of not too much vintage, and just enough white to keep things fresh!
Her home is filled with the most amazing antiques, and vignettes, it seriously has me ready to hit the nearest barn sale. But if you don’t have a vintage market near you, you are in luck! Kaley has an Etsy shop where she sells many of the vintage decor you see throughout her home. So you don’t have to go looking far to find a pair of vintage candlesticks or antique books.
I hope you’ve enjoyed Kaley’s Farmhouse Home Tour as much as I have! Be sure to check out Kaley’s blog for more Farmhouse inspiration and her beautiful vintage style. You can follow her below :
