Hello Friends! I’ve been working behind the scenes to try and organize my blog a bit better, and make some of the past content easier to find. Although I would not consider myself a furniture makeover connoisseur, I have been known to throw some paint on furniture before, or completely strip it down. I get a lot of questions about what types of stain I use, or colors of stain I used to achieve a certain look, so a post on that is coming soon, but in the meantime I created a new tab labeled “Furniture”, to house all my furniture projects.
I will admit it, I have a hard time capturing all the steps when it comes to a furniture makeover, because lets be honest, most of the time I’m so into the project I forget to take my camera out, or I’m working at night so it’s hard to capture the process. I do however love answering questions, and have no problem giving more info on what went into making over a particular piece. So if you come across a project, past or present, and wonder how I did something, please don’t hesitate to ask.
You can find all the past projects I’ve done to furniture under by going to the top menu bar. Selecting the DECOR tab, and running your curser over PROJECTS.
You can click on the Projects tab directly to see more than just furniture projects, or hold your curser over it, and a new sub category will appear – FURNITURE.
Then you will find all sorts of furniture pieces I’ve refinished, even our kitchen shelves I sanded down last fall.
Here’s a look at some of the posts already under the new tab~

I will be continuing to add to this new FURNITURE tab, but in the meantime I hope it makes finding some of my furniture projects a little easier. And if you have any questions stains or how I refinish some pieces, please send them my way as I put together a new post all about the finishing process!
