Hello Friends!! I can’t wait to share our bedroom with you today, as I’ve recently repainted our master bedroom, just in time to decorate it for Christmas. I’m also joined by 9 other blogging friends who are sharing their bedrooms decorated for the holidays as well! I know your bedroom isn’t probably the first place you think of decorating for the holidays, but I’m going to show you how just adding a few simple touches can add just the subtle holiday sparkle to spread some joy all throughout your home!
Come and see ~

There’s not a whole lot I need to add to our bedroom to make it feel festive for the holidays. A few shimmery mercury glass trees here, a faux garland there, I swap up the artwork – and instantly our room feels ready for Christmas.
There is one element that stays in our bedroom all winter long, and that is cozy layers!! Here in New England our winters are cold, and there is nothing I love more than adding lots of layers to our bed to keep us warm at night.
Even in the background, simple holiday messages spark the feelings I wanted our bedroom to have “Comfort & Joy”! A new wall hanging from Vol. 25.
A cozy knit throw is always my favorite to have close by, whether I’m reading in bed at night, or the first thing to grab when I get out of bed in the morning. I also keep an extra down comforter in our closet, so I can add it to our bed for the winter months. I also love that it makes our bed look extra cozy in the winter.
This year on my nightstand, I wanted to keep things simple. Soft and elegant was the feeling I wanted our entire bedroom to have, so when I saw this canvas from Lindsay Letters (found HERE), NEW to this years holiday collection, it was the exact feeling I wanted the entire space to embrace.
The quote on the canvas is from one of my favorite winter songs by Audrey Assad. I first heard it as a duet with Chris Tomlin, and was hooked ever since, and love that this melody embraces the peace of the season, just like how peaceful it is when the snow falls.
I got this canvas last year from Lindsay Letters (found HERE), and it sort of played musical chairs around our house. Trying it in different spots, but it never seemed to fit just right, until after I recently gave our master bedroom a fresh coat of paint, I tried it out in this spot next to the window in our bedroom, and it felt like the perfect fit.
I made this wreath a few years ago, and have used it around our home in Christmas pasts, but loved how it complimented the cozy texture of the knit throw at the end of our bed as well.
Remember it doesn’t take much to add some holiday cheer around your home, even your bedroom. You’ll be surprised at how it can spark a little joy every time you walk in your room this Christmas season.

Can you give a the name of bedroom paint. It is interesting. It shows white in sunlight and a greenish tint at night. Also a tuturiol on the white wreath you made. It is so cute

I love the crisp subtleness and calmness of your bedroom. Might I ask where you purchased your headboard for your bed?
