Hello Friends!
I am so excited to be sharing this years Festive Christmas Tablescape with you all today. Mostly, because I LOVE tablescapes, but also because I have nine of my friends joining me! Today’s post is full of festive Christmas inspiration as we count down to Christmas, so be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to see the beautiful tables my friends have created as well ๐
Come and take a look ~
For this tablescape, I used some of my go-to favorites mixed in some new favorites as well! I had planned on using only white and green, but somehow I just couldn’t resist adding pops of blue in there as well.
To start, I used THIS white linen windowpane tablecloth to act as the foundation for my festive Christmas tablescape.
It’s funny how bottle brush trees, twinkle lights, and ornaments scattered around the room instantly make things feel festive!
I created the centerpiece using my go-to faux cedar garland (unfortunately it’s out of stock), wrapped around these hand carved wooden candlesticks from Purple Rose Home. I used green taper candlesticks I found in the value spot at Target, to tie in with the green from my garland. I finished off the centerpiece with assorted bottle brush trees, and my NEW favorite Christmas decor item – THIS white eucalyptus garland!
With everything that has gone on this year, and our nation still seeming to be in crisis mode, divided, I couldn’t help but find myself craving that nostalgic feeling this Christmas more than ever.
I pulled out my inherited china set, to set each place setting, and seeing these familiar pieces, that were passed down to me from a family member, brought the greeting you would get from an old familiar friend ๐
As I begin to decorate for Christmas this year, I can’t help but feel excitement as I pull out my bins full of Christmas decor from years past, and the joy it brings as certain pieces remind me of Christmas traditions and a warm sense of familiarity returns to me.
