Hello Friends!! I’m so excited for today, because today our New Home Tour is up on our NEW YouTube channel! I will be sharing all the photos of our new home here on the blog this week, along with some of our plans for this new space! I shared a couple little sneak peeks on Instagram this past week, but really wanted to wait until you could watch our new home tour video. There is so much we love about this new home, the interior as well as the property and all it has to offer. To say we feel like we are on a little slice of heaven is an understatement, and I can’t wait for you to finally see!

I know haven’t quite shared all of the info on our new home yet, so here’s a few details before you take the virtual tour. Our home was built in 1775, and is a quintessential New England colonial, with a 3-story barn, and historical stone wall that surrounds our entire property. It sits on 25 acres, with fields, an orchard, plenty of grass to mow, and lots of woods with trails to take walks, explore, and our very own pond at the back of our property (this was the selling point for our kids)!
While the exterior resembles the 1775 colonial look, inside has been completely redone from the floor beams up. The previous owners went above and beyond restoring and updating this historic New England home (which was a selling point for us!), and we honestly just couldn’t feel more blessed to have inherit such a well kept home on an amazing property! God is SO GOOD! He knew my dreams for an old home, and my husbands dreams of wanting brand new, and brought them together on a house we both loved.
I’m so excited for you to see our new house, and can’t wait to dive into all the ideas and plans we have for her. But honestly we are still just soaking it all in! We feel at peace here, knowing that this is the home we will be in forever, so there is no rush or sense of urgency to get things done. For now we are just enjoying the process, and taking one step at a time.

What a stunning home! The setting is to die for and the home is so perfect inside!!! What might you do with the brick fireplace in the DR? Whitewash?
