LIVE Workshop Event

I’m so excited to tell you about my next LIVE Workshop Event, taking place this week! The last LIVE workshop was so much fun. If you were able to join me live than you know, or catch the replay, I loved being able to connect with you and share a fun tutorial in this way, and have the chance to answer your questions in real time! In case you missed the last one, I shared how I make a pumpkin centerpiece using my favorite blue pumpkins, and fresh flowers. Are you ready to know what I will be sharing in this weeks Live Workshop Event?!

So what is a Live Workshop Event, you might be asking yourself? Isn’t it just the same thing as Instagram Stories or going live on Instagram?

Not Quite!

These LIVE Workshop Events were created from the idea of wanting to be able to host a workshop, but have it available to everyone. In the past I have hosted local workshops, where you could come and craft right along side me in person. However that doesn’t work for everyone, because well most of you aren’t local to me. I wanted to be able to offer something that anyone could join me in, and you weren’t limited by where you lived, or needing to find a babysitter. You can join me right from the comfort of your own home.

What makes these Live workshops different than lets say IG stories, or going Live on Instagram, is that I’m able to share my tutorials with you in a completely different way. I don’t have to handle the camera, or cameras for that matter, or worry about stories uploading because Instagram is being glitchy that day. I’m working with StoryThread media, a local based production company, which means I get don’t have to worry about the technical details, I just get to focus on doing what I love most, and that’s sharing what I make and how I make it with all of YOU!

It’s so fun to be able to share tutorials with you this way. I feel like you learn more watching somebody create in real time vs. a step by step tutorial in a blog post. Now don’t get me wrong, I love sharing that way too, but sometimes I feel like there are little details along the way that don’t get captured, and by hosting these LIVE Workshops you get to ask me questions right on the spot.

For this months LIVE Workshop I will be sharing how I make an Asymmetrical Winter Wreath, and, and …. AND you will have a chance to WIN the wreath I make!! Just in time for winter, sounds like fun right!! You might remember this tutorial I shared a few years ago for this winter asymmetrical wreath, using all real greens. This time I wanted to show how to make a faux one so it will last year after year, and I’m using all my favorite realistic looking faux steams from Afloral! So you know it’s going to be good.
