Hi Friends!!
It’s time for another installment of Currently Loving. Every once and awhile I like to share these “catch-up” posts, where if you and I were to meet over coffee, I would share all the things I’m loving lately! While there really is no rhyme or reason to what I choose, it’s just a random mash-up of the things that have either caught my eye, or I can’t get enough of. With the seasonal change right upon us, it felt fitting to share some of things I’m loving right now as we enter into spring!
In no particular order – Here We Go!
These tea towels
If you caught my latest room refresh than you may recognize these tea towels. I used them as cafe curtains in our guest bathroom refresh, and just love the warmth they added to the space. I’m a sucker for anything with a stripe, and these linen tea towels with the soft, muted hue had my attention instantly. I think they would even make a beautiful hostess gift, wrapped with a bottle of wine, or crusty loaf of bread! You can them find them here.
This artwork
I stumbled across Carleigh Courey last year after Jean Stoffer shared her artwork, and immediately ordered one of her calendars for this year as soon as they became available. Her paintings are just breathtaking, and I love that she has so many floral paintings. It is hard to pick a favorite. I just recently ordered her Clementines print to hang in our kitchen, and I am anxiously awaiting it’s arrival 🙂
These plates
Speaking of hanging things on the walls. I am in LOVE with these blue and white plates. They feel vintage, and slightly european, almost resembling transferware but without the toile. I think they would look beautiful on the table, but also love collecting special dishes like these, and hanging them on the wall, either in the kitchen or dining room. I’ve been missing seeing my plates up on the wall lately, and thinking about a few areas I can hang them in our home 🙂
They also have matching bowls too – found HERE.
This recipe – on repeat
Spaghetti and meatballs is a weekly staple in our house, so when I came across this Short Rib Ragu recipe I jumped at making it. It was the perfect switch up to a family favorite, and had all the comforts we loved. The recipe is so easy to follow, and doesn’t require spending the whole day in the kitchen, although it tastes like it. A little bit of planning, and this savory dish is sure to become an instant favorite. If you want a meal to serve that will wow your family, or company, this one will surely impress.
I used bone-in short ribs when I made it because I already had them on hand. I followed the recipe the same, and just pulled the short ribs out – removed the bones, and the meat just fell apart. It was super easy to mix it back in when you are finishing up the sauce. This is one you will want to make again and again.
Find the recipe – HERE.
This sweater
I have been loving cardigans lately. The button down front is very forgiving, they feel like a sweatshirt, but look a little nicer which is my favorite combo. I’m all about comfortable things that look nice too. This white crochet one is the perfect spring staple.
This tea – found HERE.
I have shared my tea love with you before. While I am a coffee drinker through and through, I have come to enjoy a nice hot cup of herbal tea to get me through these colder months. My mom found this tea (which I can only seem to find on Amazon), and it is the perfect sweet treat without any of the calories. I enjoy this tea steeping just one tea bag with nothing in it. It really does taste perfect all on its’ own. Have you tried this before?
This album
I have been a long time fan of Christy Nockels, and her latest album does not disappoint. It’s soothing, and beautiful melodies make it one you can just put on and listen to the whole way through. Many of the words in her lyrics resonate deeply for me, and I find it truly uplifting.

Love the new Christy Nockels CD too! I have it playing on repeat in my car. I got to see her at the album release worship night in TX a few weeks ago, and it was so lovely. My favorite lyric is, “And there’s no outcome that is greater No promise that is sweeter And the answer I keep waiting for Is You are with me evermore!”
