Garden Pots Tablescape | 2019

Hello Friends and Happy Friday!!! What a fun week it has been on the blog this week! Celebrating my sweet friends new book, that happens to feature our home, and finally some posts all about spring! And today we are kicking off this Friday with one of my favorite things to do – Tablescapes!! And I have some amazing friends joining me! Let’s get this party started!!

I love getting outside after a long cold winter, and planting new plants is such a refreshing feeling with the anticipation of warmer days that comes with Spring. I love filling my pots with flowers and getting my hands in some potting soil once spring hits!

While I still may have a ways to go in my gardening skills outside, I wanted to re-create a gardening party tablescape, by incorporating terra cotta pots, filled with blooming bulbs.

I created this centerpiece using terra cotta pots I picked up from Michael’s last year, and used my favorite faux paper whites from Magnolia to fill them.

Similar pots found HERE.

I grabbed a pallet wood tray my hubby had built for me years ago, to corral all the pots, but I also wanted it to resemble how you would naturally see them in a greenhouse or a garden. Stacked and clustered together, just waiting to be used.

To add a little frill to the table, I layered a white ruffle tablecloth over a gray and white striped one, to make the otherwise simple settings feel a bit more elegant.

Striped Wicker Chairs found HERE.

You can shop more of my dining room look here :

I used our everyday recycled drinking glasses (TJ Maxx), and white enamel silverware to add to the casual vibe of the terra cotta pots, and chose different colored plates to pop against the white tablecloth. Finishing off each place setting with a fresh green stem, a tiny added touch to remind each person we are celebrating Springs arrival 🙂

I can’t wait to get outside this spring, and start sprucing things up, and filling my planters with fresh new flowers for the season. Until then I will let this tablescape setting get me by, and remind me that spring is most definitely on it’s way!

Now take a look and see what some of the beautiful Spring Tablescapes my friends created…
