Hello Friends!
Every once in awhile I share this kind of post. A random mash up of all the things I’m currently loving, or crushing on at the moment. While these “Currently Loving” posts seem to always have the same flow and feel to them, the things I share in them are completely at random. These posts always end up being my favorite type of posts to share, because I imagine us sitting down with a nice hot beverage in hand, as we catch up on life and other things 🙂 With the seasonal change right upon us, it felt fitting to share some of things I’m loving right now as we enter into spring!
Let’s get chatting, shall we ~
Currently Loving – My New Rattan Bowl & Pitcher
If you caught my post on how I decorated our hutch for Spring, then you might have noticed a few new pieces. I talked about building a collection of your favorite serving pieces, and this year I added these two new pieces to my collection.
I had been eyeing them for quite awhile, and finally pulled the trigger a few weeks ago when they went on sale. I love that I can use the pitcher to serve drinks, like for brunch or at Easter this weekend, or as a vase for fresh flowers.

The bowl is actually quite large, which surprised me in a good way, which I think will be perfect for serving yummy salads in this summer.
Currently Loving – This cup of Tea
I have a love for lemon! This tea combo that I came up with has been my go to lately, as I patiently wait on Spring to arrive. I know I’ve shared my obsession for this Glazed Lemon Loaf tea, and while that is still a favorite, I love the addition of lavender to the mix.
I steep together one bag of the I Love Lemon tea and one bag of the Lavender Chamomile for 5minutes. Then I squeeze in the juice from one lemon wedge, add a few tablespoons of coconut milk, and a few drops of stevia. You can use any sweetener you like, but this combo reminds me of lemon meringue pie.
Currently Loving – This recent save on Instagram
This kitchen, done by Amber Interiors. What drew me in was the ceiling, but then as I began to soak up all of the beautiful details in this shot, it’s hard to pick a favorite design element. I love the windowed pantry, giving it more of a “shop” feel. The blend of white + wood tones is the perfect combination of clean and rustic, not to mention it exudes warmth with an historic feel. There is so much character in this kitchen, I’ve actually saved different views of it over and over again without realizing it until the other day. I would love to do a ceiling like this, or add some beams (like we did in our previous house, shared HERE) in our new home.
Currently Loving – This View
I took this picture last year just after we moved in. I was walking out in our orchard one evening as the sun was starting to dip behind the trees and I stood there just in awe of Gods goodness. It’s hard to believe that we are already coming up on our 1 year mark of being in our new home. More and more this amazing blessing of a home is starting to feel like us, and I can’t wait for the orchard to start blooming again here very soon.
Currently Loving – What I’m Reading
I know it’s been awhile since I’ve shared a round up of what I’m reading, but this habit of mine I cultivated a few years ago now is still in full swing. I’m just about to finish this current book I’m reading, Un-clutter Your Soul – by Trina McNeilly, and I can already tell this will be a book that I will go back and read again. It’s deep, and requires some deep soul work of processing through the clutter of hurts and pain, and perhaps some unhealthy mindsets, to live a life in the freedom we were always meant to.
