{Taking Some Time Off}

For the last couple weeks I have been toying with the idea of taking a short break from the blog.

Denying myself that it is a necessary step during this season in life has only prolonged this post. However, if you have noticed the lack of posts over the past month, you are not alone, the proof is in the pudding! I need a break. I went back and forth for the past couple weeks, because I love sharing all of my latest design obsessions with you, and connecting with all of you! And while projects still take place, and working with clients, I can’t help but feel spread a little too thin these days. And unfortunately my family is the one that will suffer, no matter how well I can disguise it, even if they don’t notice it, I notice it. And while my children are still at the tender age of needing a present mother, I want to be present for them. So with summer upon us, I will be taking some time off to unplug, disconnect, and recharge my batteries, without the nagging thought in the back of my mind of feeling pressure to get a post up. Lately when I’ve sat down to write a post about something, anything, some sort of content, all the ideas I’ve had running through my head all day seem to run away when it comes down to actually getting them out. So I’m taking that as my hint, along with a few other things I’ve had on my heart lately, to take a break and refresh. Because I do have so much I want to share with you, but want it to come forth in the best light possible, and not from a drained, tired, barely there blogger 🙂 So for the next 6 weeks I will be on blogging vacation, and enjoying summer with my wee ones while they are still little. Please don’t loose faith with me, I have some BIG posts planned for when I come back, just taking some time for me and family right now. So while you will find me :
