So it’s the day before Thanksgiving. THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING!! I feel like I say this every year as the holidays arrive, but seriously time flies! I guess it’s a good thing we are having fun!! I’m so glad you enjoyed our Dining Room mini-makeover. I still have a few things brewing that I want to add, including finally getting an area rug for that space! We will see what 2016 brings. I was chatting with the hubby this morning, and I told him that infamous hair across my butt that shows up every now and then itching for a project … IT’S BACK! LOL. I have a laundry list of things to do today, never mind the 6 loads of laundry I did yesterday, that still need to be put away, and you know what I want to do more than anything right now?!
Paint my bedroom! ACK! LOL. I do this, you know. I’ve shared this silly process before on Instagram I think?! It’s how I ended up with a black accent wall in my office. It was fall, I was decorating/coordinating a wedding in a week and a half, followed by a women’s event I was speaking/demonstrating at 2 weeks after that. Our son had just started kindergarten, along with fall home tours I dispiriting needed to get ready for, and what did I do. I painted a wall black instead! 
I don’t know why but when life starts to get hectic-crazy, I feel the need to paint! Well this hair across my butt is a little more than just painting a room, however I do have the itch to do that, I was telling the MR. that in our history of being together this is the longest we’ve staying in a home. Not because we had the itch to move, but we were young, and starting out, and establishing ourselves, and the moves we made were a natural progression to that. We averaged about 3-3 1/2 years at our 2 places before we bought our home. We are going on 5 years, and as much as I love our home, and we have no intention of moving in the near future, that itch of not having a different space to decorate is calling my name! So I told him, consider this your WARNING – like you may come home from work one day and furniture is moved, or our room is painted a nice pretty dark moody color, because that’s what I’m craving! So who knows what you will be seeing in the new year around our home, but as I mentioned before I’m craving to simplify some things, and as you can tell her I’m craving some change!
