I am so excited Friday is here!! It’s means a few fun and exciting things are going on. First – Where did the week go? LOL, Second, we are down in Atlanta right now for the Haven Conference, and it has been so great getting to see everyone and connect again!! And lastly, it’s Friday, so that means it’s time for another Farmhouse Friday Tour!!! I’m so glad you guys are enjoying these as much as I am.
I just can’t get enough of farmhouse style homes, and today’s is no different.
Please welcome Laura from Renew My Home. Laura shares a beautiful story HERE, about how they came to this house on this beautiful plot of land, so make sure you click over to her blog and read it, she captures it best. Let’s get this tour started!
I just love her farmers porch, I seriously don’t think I would move from that spot! And I love the fresh blue on her front door. She painted it Palladian Blue by: Benjamin Moore.
Taking a step inside-
Even though they built the home 4 years ago, I love all the detail and architecture they incorporated, which really gives it a lot of character.
I love this cabinet she has tucked in her back hallway. I’ve always been one for letting a good piece of furniture do all the talking. This is a perfect example of letting it stand out and shine. Simple, elegant, beautiful.
Moving into her kitchen –
There are so many details to love in this kitchen, I don’t know where to start! Laura said when they were designing the house, this was really where her passion for details came out.
Because I know we are still staring at that gorgeous hood. Her husband made it for her – YEP! You read that right. It’s such a show stopper, it gets me every time I see it!
Her dining room, off the kitchen is also full of beautiful pieces put together just right, for a simple cozy feel. You can see more photos on her blog as well.
Moving upstairs to the bedrooms, I love how bright and airy everything feels. They are so refreshing and welcoming spaces, they way bedrooms should feel. Like you can come in, plop down and take a deep breath and relax.
I love the details and simple touches in her daughters room. Fun and cheery, but not over loaded with stuff, which continues that feeling of light refreshment you get through her entire house.
I hope you have enjoyed Lauras’ tour as much as I have. Her husband built their home, and I think it’s evident he spared now detail. They make a great team working on homes together, and if you are in the Minnesota area and need a carpenter you can contact them at :
