Fall Table with Wayfair

10/22/2016 By Bre

It’s no secret around here that I love to create tablescapes. Whatever the occasion is I’m up for the task. Whether its a more formal dining setting, like THIS ONE I created this fall. Or creating a simple tablescape like THIS ONE, that will last from September right up to Thanksgiving. This weeks video with Wayfair is all about creating a fall/thanksgiving tablescape. Since I realize that not everyone creates a new tablescape for every occasion, I wanted to create one that I knew could last a few months, but still be perfect for Thanksgiving.

Fresh pumpkins were my jam this year! And honestly I’m going to have a hard time making them look different for next years decor, because I absolutely LOVED incorporating these muted toned pumpkins into my decor this year. Whenever I want my table to feel a bit more formal, or just different for that matter, I use a tablecloth. In this case I placed a light oat colored linen table cloth over my table for a softer look, but it still brought in that texture I crave.

I started my fall table by placing THESE candlesticks I found at Wayfair staggered on the table. Incorporating different heights on your table really helps add depth, and lots of interest. I then brought in my pumpkins, and filled in the gaps with seeded eucalyptus.

I used charcoal gray linen napkins, also found at Wayfair, to break up my white plates, and add in a warmer color, that’s cozy for fall. Warm toned rose gold flatware compliments the muted orange pumpkins, and also warms things up for fall. I finished each place setting with a mini white pumpkin, that could also double as place card holders for a sentimental touch.
