Woodland Winter Tablescape

I got some many kind comments on our Holiday Housewalk tour last week, particularly about my winter themed tablescape, so today I wanted to share some more details about my Woodland Winter Tablescape.

If you saw in our Christmas tour I incorporated some blue to this years decor. One of my main staples were these amazing blue goblets I found at HomeGoods in clearance! They paired perfectly with the glasses I already had from my china set, and added just the touch of blue the table needed.

I knew I wanted to incorporate some antique brass tones into my table, so I grabbed my hand me down brass candle sticks, and staggered them down the center of the table. I then nestled in some fresh winter green stems.

I tucked in antique brass faux antlers, and THESE mercury glass votives.  Some twinkle lights on brass wire, and antique mercury glass ornaments embellished the greenery and gave the table a shimmery sparkle.

I used my inherited china set for each place setting, stacked on vintage silver chargers. I created a simple place card for each place setting by tying ribbons around white linen napkins, and using brass labeling tags for each persons named. I used THIS cement ribbon with THIS blue velvet ribbon, both from minted, along with a fresh sprig of cedar and my place setting was complete.

I wanted things to feel wintery and woodsy, yet elegant. I think the blend of different elements helped accomplish that look, and gave my table a sophisticated yet cozy feel.

Hi Beth! I believe I got them at HomeGoods last year in their home office section. TJMaxx is another place a search in their gift wrap section for unique pieces like that 🙂

Love this tablescape! The blue goblets are GORGEOUS. I have the same brass candle holders but am have such a hard time finding candles that fit, where did you get the white candles from?

Thanks Alison, I got the candles from IKEA and they are a little fatter on the bottom than others 🙂 Thanks Again!
