Our Living Room throughout the Year

Hello Friends!! With the holidays behind us, I brought the last bins of Christmas decor down to our basement – today! Thankfully, it was mostly the Christmas decor from the kids room, but it feels so good to have the house back down to a clean slate. I just finished swapping over my pillow covers, back to something neutral for the winter months, and it got me thinking about all the little changes I do in our living room throughout the year. I know you see it when I share our living room for each seasonal tour, but I thought it would be fun to point out how I change things from season to season, all rounded up in one post. Sort of a Before & After, but more or less just the After’s. So today I’m sharing the different looks our living room has throughout the year.

Hello friends!! What an amazing year it has been!! Honestly as much as I wish these last days of the year would stand still, I love to pause and reflect on what an amazing year it has been, which always winds up giving me just the right amount of motivation to dive into the new year with hope and anticipation for what it might bring! Hello friends!! I hope your holiday week is going well! Styling a New Years Eve Bar Cart

Christmas is next week!! And that means that we will be ringing in the New Year before you know it! A few years ago we started celebrating New Years Even in, and having my sister and her family over. We play games and the kids have a karaoke sing off until it’s time to watch the ball drop! It has totally replaced any need to go out and celebrate. So while we stay in there are a few things I like to do to still make it feel special. One of them is styling our bar cart so it’s ready with a champagne toast to ring in the New Year.
