Hello Friends, and happy FRIDAY!! Is it me or did this week fly by? Maybe it’s because Monday was a holiday, maybe it’s because I started sharing some fall decor posts? Who knows, whatever the reason I’m so glad Friday is here, and the weekend is knocking on my door. Today is the final day of the Farmhouse Home Tour series. In case you are new around here, every friday throughout the summer months I’ve been sharing a farmhouse style home tour here on the blog! You can catch all the tours HERE, on this permanent page on my blog, and I’m already looking forward to continuing with the series next summer, and am planning on a special holiday edition as well, so stay tuned for more!

DIY Fall Wreath

I decided to do something little bit different than a traditional wreath. I love getting fresh wreaths for fall that will last me until Christmas, but since it’s still supposed to be in the high 80’s this week, I wanted to wait until the temperature drops a bit so it doesn’t speed up the drying out time. I wanted something that could be hung on our door, but also used in other places around our house as well.

Hello Friends!!! I can’t believe summer is finally starting to wind down. The kids started back to school on Thursday, and with temps in the 50’s at night, it sure feels like fall is knocking on our doorstep. I have some subtle fall decor posts lined up to share with you all next week. I can’t wait, but in the meantime I am winding down the Farmhouse Style Home Tour series I’ve been sharing with you each Friday this past summer. First of all I want to say thank you so much for all of your sweet comments on my “Dream” post! I really love being able to share from my heart, and plan to do so more. I want to not only inspire women in their homes but encourage their dreams – whatever they may be – as well! So thank you for allowing me to do just that! Today however I have some exciting news I want to share with you all. Hello Friends!! First of all I have to say, I had every intention of getting this posted on Friday, but we had one thing after another come up, and there just weren’t enough hours in the week to get all that I needed done between work and family. With back to school this week, and soccer practice starting up, we are trying to squeeze in the last bit of our summer bucket list. I’m so glad to have these precious memories with the kids home this summer, and I’ll be sharing more on that soon. But for now, I am so excited to share this weeks Farmhouse Style Home Tour with you!

A dream…

I began to feel my heart strings tugged again to start exploring becoming an interior decorator. I had my hands full with two babies eighteen months apart, a new home I hadn’t even scratched the surface on all my plans for yet, and still I had this undeniable urge to start some kind of a creative business. You see though, I had been here before. Everytime I got this close, I came up with an excuse as to why not, and talked myself out of it.
