Transitioning Throw Pillows | Christmas Edition
I've mentioned it before, but one of the ways I like to transition the decor in my home from season to season is swapping out my throw pillow covers. I actually keep them all in the trunk in our living room that we use as a coffee table, so they are close by when I'm ready to swap things over. This makes it super easy to do a quick change in my decor, without the expense of buying all new pillows every time. So I wanted to share how I transitioned our couch pillows over recently for Christmas. ... Read More about Transitioning Throw Pillows | Christmas Edition

So today I'm sharing the simple Christmas vignette I created to go along with yesterdays tablescape. Come & See ~ ... Read More about Simple Christmas Vignette

The Best Coffee Cake
I don't know about you, but growing up one of my favorite treats whenever we would go to someone's house was coffee cake! Whenever my mom would get invited somewhere, my sisters and I would be in tow, but secretly we were all excited to see what treats they would be serving. Somewhere along the way, I think I became a secret judge, critiquing the coffee cake we would be served at these "mommy coffee dates", but non-the-less I was always happy to be a taste tester. I found this coffee cake recipe years ago, made one tiny change to it, and it has been my go-to best coffee cake recipe ever! And I'm sharing the recipe with you today ~ ... Favorite Christmas Decor | 2019
Do you shop online for your Christmas decor, or head to the stores? I'll be honest I do a little bit of both. While I love browsing online in my pj's and coffee in hand, I also can't help browsing through the Christmas decor when I go into Target or HomeGoods either. But do you want to know my secret? I start buying NOW, sometimes earlier too! Have you ever gotten to the stores, or seen a beautiful home online, and loved the holiday decor so much, you ask where they got something and you head straight there only to the shelves empty! ... My Favorite Christmas Trees
Hello friends! Last week as I began pulling bins out of our basement of Christmas decor, I discovered that there had been some water damage. After loosing a large bin of Christmas decor the previous year to water damage, I thought I had stored everything properly so this couldn't happen again - but I was wrong. Unfortunately in our 1846 farmhouse, our basement gets water running through it every time there is a heavy rain that moves in, so we keeps things up on shelves and in plastic totes. Well, I lost two Christmas trees this year to water damage :( UGH! Such a sad day, despite my best efforts to keep things stored properly. I'm happy to report though that I found a new Christmas tree, on ... Read More about My Favorite Christmas Trees

Of course, I have many things I'm excited to see come out of the bins, but I've also picked up a few new pieces as well. One being these cute wooden nutcrackers from Michael's this year.
