15 Must-Have Fall Throw Pillows

Hello Friends!! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! It was so much fun sharing our fall home tour, and living room with all of you this past week!! Even though the home tour is up, I’m still on the hunt for some more fall throw pillows, and ones that I can transition into my winter decor as well. If you are a familiar face around here, you know my approach to seasonal decor is subtle. I like to let nature do the talking, and don’t typically go for anything too flashy or noticeable when it comes to trinkets and pillows. As I’m searching for my own self, I thought it would be fun if I rounded up some of my absolute favorites – my fall must haves if you will, and share them all with you! Fall Living Room 2018 | Seasons of Home

Hello Friends! I’m so excited to be sharing more fall looks around our home today, this time in our living room! I have some very special blogging friends joining me today. part of the Seasons of Home tour series, hosted by Kristen from Ella Claire. I have to tell you I was a little stumped this year when it came to adding fall touches to our living room. I couldn’t settle on a color to bring in or take out. My typical go-to grays just weren’t cutting it for me this time around. I went back to the colors I used in my fall kitchen, and how much I loved those.

Hello Friends!! I’m so happy to be joining in another round of the Seasonal Simplicity Fall Series this week, this time sharing our fall decorated mantles or vignettes! Honestly, vignettes are my favorite thing to create – next to Tablescapes that is, I love creating smaller arrangements, and the flexibility to change it up as often as I feel, or leave it that way for months if I like. There is so much flexibility with it, and I like to think it’s the one thing I’ve been doing since I was 13, lol! The dresser turned buffet in our dining room is where I change out my decor seasonally the most. I love clearing it off completely and creating a new vignette every time. For fall I like to keep things pretty simple, stacked pumpkins are my go to, and I love how subtle these muted pumpkins bring in all the feels for fall.

Summer Styled Bar Cart

I’m totally smitten with the bar cart trend that’s been going on, not sure what I’m talking about, just search “bar cart” on Pinterest and you will see an endless scroll of inspiration. There are so many different ways you can utilize a bar cart as well, some for plants, some for craft supplies, and of course some for drinks! I picked up this sweet little bar cart back in March, and have used it in a few areas around my house, and even though it doesn’t have a permanent spot yet I wanted to show you how I styled my bar cart for summer!

As a kid I always used to love going to the beach in the summer and all the coastal towns would put out their American flags. Every store front and shop had one, and the lined the streets. Maybe that’s the nostalgic feeling I get when I see an American flag in the summer. New Countertop in the Kitchen

I’m so excited with how it turned out, and how it feels in our kitchen now! It’s so much brighter, and it truly feels like it was always supposed to be this way. It was worth the wait, I can tell you that. I’ve wanted our island to have this type of of countertop ever since we purchased our home 7 years ago. New Outdoor Dining Space

I am so excited to be sharing our newest outdoor space with you today! In case you missed it, I shared our outdoor patio area HERE last week. If you’ve been following along on the blog, then you know earlier this spring we rented a bobcat and expanded the area around our barn. Well I’ve been busy working back there, believe me there is still more I can’t wait to do, but let me show you what we’ve done so far!
