There’s a new favorite in town, and you might have noticed it in my Festive Christmas Tablescape earlier this week 🙂 Or if you’ve seen some of my “behind the scenes” Christmas decorating stories on IG lately? I can’t help it, I’ve been adding it everywhere. Open shelves, my centerpiece, even in the vignette I created on my buffet. It first showed up in the faux garland arrangement I did on the new plank wall in our kitchen, and right away I knew I wanted to add this everywhere.

Christmas Decor Favorites | 2020
Happy Monday! It’s crazy to think that Thanksgiving is this week already! How did the year go by so fast already. I shared in my FB group – Coffee with Bre- on Friday that I’ve narrowed down the feeling that I want my Christmas decor to have this year. Simple. Minimal. Organic. Pulling inspiration from years past, I’m focusing on simple garlands, faux fur, and some chunky knits for added texture. Even though I’ve bought minimal new Christmas decor this year, I’ve still browsed quite a bit, and thought it would be fun to round up some of my favorites, including some of my go-to staples when it comes to decorating for Christmas. So here are a few images from past years that I am pulling from for this years inspiration, along with this years Christmas Decor Favorites!
Christmas Tree Farm | Porch Decor
After having what seemed like the most mild fall in history, our temps here in New England are telling us winter is on it’s way! In fact we’ve already had some snow fall, but with temps in the 70’s a few days later, it melted pretty quickly. With porch sitting weather no longer in season, I start to get our outdoor spaces prepped and ready for winter. Patio furniture gets put away, and any remaining signs of fall – i.e. our pumpkins, get fed to the chickens. Since we do get some snow on our farmers porch in the winter, I like to keep the furniture on it minimal. Making it easy to clear and walk on for shelter from the winter elements. I cleared off our porch the other day to start the process of outdoor prep, and created this sweet little Christmas Tree Farm vignette, perfect for the upcoming holidays, but something that can last all winter long.
Tips for Making your Thanksgiving Table Special
Hello friends! I get it, this year has been nuts. Honestly I didn’t think for one minute that we would still be dealing with these circumstances come Thanksgiving, but alas here we are. I know we all have our reservations about how things look moving forward, but one thing I know for sure, is that I will not hold back on making our Thanksgiving table feel special for my family this year! Regardless of who is and isn’t gathering around your table this year for Thanksgiving I wanted to share some simple tips for making it feel special. Something I think we are all longing for right about now.
Easy Classic Thanksgiving Stuffing
So the comedy in sharing this recipe with you all today is that I have actually never like stuffing before in my life – until NOW! It’s true I tell you, up until earlier this year when I made this recipe for the first time, I have never before in my life liked stuffing. When I was in high school, I thought maybe my taste buds had matured enough, that all those thanksgivings as a kid, trying bites of stuffing that I did not like would finally have trained my taste buds to like it – nope! I should put this disclaimer out there, that I am not a picky eater. Yet here I was well into my 30’s still not liking stuffing. In fact if you asked me what was my least favorite food, stuffing would have been my answer – until now!
Thanksgiving Tablescape Tutorial + Sources
Hello friends!! This week sure was fun sharing on the blog. Mostly because it involved one of my favorite topics – tablescapes. I was chatting with a friend this week about this years Thanksgiving Tablescape, and told her I don’t know which holiday I like creating tablescapes for more – Thanksgiving or Christmas? Or if it’s more of just me loving what those holiday tablescapes represent. Gathering around the table with friends and family. Today I’m sharing all the sources for my tablescape, and also a step by step guide for how I put it together. I hope it inspires you as you start thinking about special details you could add to your thanksgiving tablescape this year as well.
Easy Thanksgiving Place Card
Hello friends!! Thank you so much for all of your kind words regarding this years Thanksgiving table. I was chatting with a friend the other day, and I told her it’s a hard toss up to decide which holiday I like creating tablescapes for more, Thanksgiving or Christmas! I love the seasonal elements that both holidays bring forth, but what I love even more is the excuse the holiday gives me to create a fancy table for my family. Today I’m sharing how I made the place cards I used on this years Thanksgiving table. It was quite simple, but there’s nothing quite like adding the personal touch of a place card to make others feel welcome.
