Hello Friends!! I have the easiest summer recipe for you today! Trust me, this takes no time to prepare, and makes such a tasty dish for any summer gathering. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite summer home decor from H&M right now, they are killing it with the summer vibes. And I’m not sure if I’ve shared this before, but my favorite place to look for anything linen for around my house. So I figured I would share what I love, because chances are you’re going to love it too!
On this Mothers Day, I wanted to share with you a little bit about my journey in motherhood so far. I cap it at “so far” because well, I’m right in the middle of it. I’m past the throws of the infant stage and toddler hood, and no sleep, and right in the sweet spot of “I can wipe my own bum” and “tie my own shoes” and there is no sign of pre-teen drama. And even if we aren’t at the same stage in life, or motherhood for that matter, I really just wanted to share what has impacted me, what I’ve learned so far, lol. Because if you haven’t been in toddlerhood for a while, it is no joke my friend! While I still have a long ways to go, here are 5 things I’ve learned so far.
Hello Friends! Mothers day is fast approaching, and if you caught this years mothers day tablescape, then you know I went all “Pretty in Pink”, with some beautiful pink ranunculus. I am no florist by any means, but I’ve thrown together an arrangement from time to time. I usually love to enlist the help of my talented friend Christi from Twig & Tulip. She is what I like to call a ninja master when it comes to arranging beautiful flowers. She created the lovely arrangement on last years Mother’s Day tablescape, and so many more for other tablescapes I’ve done in the past. But every now and then (usually when I procrastinate) I try my hand at it.
Hello Friends! After so many of you commented on how much you loved my previous round up of 10 Modern Farmhouse Floor plans, I decided to do it again, this time with twelve NEW ones! Honestly, I didn’t think I would find 12 more out there that I loved just as much, but I did! I know I can lost for hours looking through floor plans, it’s so much fun to imagine layouts, set up furniture arrangements in my mind, and envision family life taking place in these spaces. Hi Friends!! Yes you are reading that title right, todays post is all about our bathroom demo! In case you missed it we are teaming up with Wayfair for their #oneroomchallenge and renovating our master bathroom! It’s so exciting! This room has NOT been touched since we’ve lived here, and I can honestly say it feels so good to put my signature on it! Unlike our downstairs bathroom makeover we did last year, the tub and toilet do NOT need to be replaced. However we are replacing the vanity, adding lots of new lighting, and adding a whole BUNCH of tile! EEK! You can read all about my design plan …
I am so excited to share all the details with you! I get asked a lot about our sofa, and slip covers in general, and since our sofa came with the slip covers already on them, I was never able to provide a source as to where to get your own. Many of you have asked where you can even find slip covers, or how to go about getting slip covers for the sofas and chairs you already have. Sometimes it’s not necessarily the furniture that we have that we want to replace, but just refreshen the look of them. I have just the solution!
Hello friends!! Happy Monday, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! There is something so refreshing about the weekend, we love to curl up and just relax and refresh on the weekends. Our weeks are so busy, that we’ve found it absolutely necessary to take time to allow proper rest on the weekends, and time spent with the family so that we can return to Monday and be ready to tackle the week ahead. Our #1 space to relax in is our living room, and I hinted in a previous post that I am getting ready to switch a few things out.
the hubby and I enjoyed a little weekend getaway. Honestly I was so smitten with this cute little coastal are we visited, I just had to share some of my favorite things with you 😉
