Hello Friends!! Well I’d like to say I’ve finished decorating for fall already. I’m close, almost done, I just have a few small areas to wrap up. But it’s got me thinking, unlike decorating for the holidays, fall for me is really about celebrating the season changing. It’s not that I need more, or to go all out in my decor, but rather just a few simple changes. So in case you need some encouragement and just a little inspiration, I’ve rounded up a few simple fall decorating ideas to share today.

Friends, I’m so excited!! I have an upcoming Book Signing Event!! I’m so excited for the chance to get to hug and meet some of you in real life! There is nothing like getting together in person, especially to celebrate, and this is going to be such a fun event! I so hope that you can make it!

If you follow me on social media, then you may have seen that this past Thursday I had one of my first live workshop events on FaceBook, and it was a BLAST! I shared how I make one of my favorite pumpkin centerpieces, for one of my first LIVE workshop events that I have planned for this year, with three more scheduled to help you decorate your home for the holidays. I love being able to share decorating ideas here on the blog, but there is something so different about being able to have you join me in a LIVE as if you were standing right along side me.

he season has to offer – including the pumpkin spice chocolate covered coffee beans from Trader Joes – YUM! I pulled out my fall decor bin 2 weeks ago, but have yet to finish, or dare I say really pull any of the decor out, LOL! So in an effort to put a little fire under my butt and finish my fall decorating, today I’m sharing a simple fall vignette I assembled, using some minimal decor – and mostly just the power pumpkins.

we moved into our new home, we both had day dreamed about what we couldn’t wait to do with the outside landscape of this property. However there were some areas where we couldn’t quite figure out how to tackle, or how to connect with the other design elements we had planned for our yard. Insert Yardzen to the rescue! They came up with an entire exterior landscape design plan, and I can’t wait for you to see!

Hi Friends! I’m so excited to share more about my NEW book, The Gift of Home, and a special gift for you to celebrate! I started my blog from the passion that I want everyone to be able to Love the space that they call Home. Not just the ones who seem to have a knack for decorating, or don’t seem to struggle with putting a room together – EVERYONE. In my new book I share a lot of my own personal journey in decorating, from the time I was a little girl, to a young adult trying to find my style. For me I never fit into just one decorating style so I always felt like I just didn’t fit in. Until I realized that your true style is one that reflects your own personal style. And that friends is a style that can never go out of style or be wrong.
