I’m totally smitten with the bar cart trend that’s been going on, not sure what I’m talking about, just search “bar cart” on Pinterest and you will see an endless scroll of inspiration. There are so many different ways you can utilize a bar cart as well, some for plants, some for craft supplies, and of course some for drinks! I picked up this sweet little bar cart back in March, and have used it in a few areas around my house, and even though it doesn’t have a permanent spot yet I wanted to show you how I styled my bar cart for summer!

Picnic in an Apple Orchard
I got to set up and photograph a picnic tablescape in an apple orchard right at the peak of when all the apple blossoms where in full bloom. It was magical, and a dream setting for sure. I had my favorite florist friend working on location with me that day, we had a boat load of accessories for the shoot, that once the main shoot was done, we set things up bit differently, swapped out some pieces, adding in a pop of red, and viola had a completely different feel and vibe. I joked that it made me feel like I was in the countryside of France, and it was so much fun to set up and “play”, I wanted to share the pictures with you from this magical day! I hope you enjoy our picnic in and apple orchard scene.

Our Chicken Coop
Hello Friends!! I hope your week has been going well. We have been totally enjoying the lazy days of summer around here. family vacations, time spent outside soaking in the warm air, it truly has been a great summer so far. I know I’ve sharing little glimpse’s of our chicken coop on Instagram before, but I realized the other day while I was out collecting eggs, I don’t think I’ve shared much of it on here. I announced that we got chickens a few years ago – HERE. And since then we have added to the flock. We have a total of 12 chickens, and honestly they are so much fun to have. I love their personalities, and they have to be the most friendliest chickens I’ve ever met! I love sitting on my porch and watching them, and honestly looking out over our yard and seeing their coop just makes me happy, so I thought I would share it with you today.

My Favorite Patriotic Outdoor Decor
As a kid I always used to love going to the beach in the summer and all the coastal towns would put out their American flags. Every store front and shop had one, and the lined the streets. Maybe that’s the nostalgic feeling I get when I see an American flag in the summer. So today I’m sharing some of my favorite patriotic outdoor decor around our home, and I have an exciting announcement at the end of todays post!
