I’ve slowly been adding bits of fall around our house. As I shared last week in my coffee table styling post, I like making subtle seasonal changes throughout my rooms to celebrate the upcoming season. I’ve been adding in some richer colored throw pillows, and cozy knits, not to mention a pumpkin here and there. Today I’m teaming up with my friends for another round of the Seasons of Home series as we all share our fall living rooms.
One of my first go-to’s when I decorate for fall is this wall hanging from Vol. 25. It’s only out for a brief time frame before she makes way for her winter collections, but it’s a perfect statement for celebrating all that fall is!
Since I still stick to a more neutral palette, even for fall, I love bringing out deeper shades of greens and blues. My favorite navy buffalo check throw pillow covers remind me of traditional plaids you see come out in the cooler months.
A mix of real and faux pumpkins sprinkled in just the right touch of fall in our living room. I also used some leftover clippings from my fall tablescape centerpiece to tie my color scheme into our living room as well.
I swapped out my other throw pillow covers with some cozy knit covers I got last year. Bringing in cozy textures like cable knits and velvet help set the mood for fall, and curling up on our sofa as temperatures cool down outside.
I can’t wait to share more glimpse’s around of our home decorated for fall, but for now enjoy seeing what my friends have done in their homes for fall!
