Even though I loved what I was doing, my time could have been better spent working on my actual product and online presence rather than making sure every tag had my name on it.
Oh man if I could go back now with the things I learned, I would have saved myself a lot of energy, lol. I think that is one of the sneaky things when starting your own business, is trying to present a professional image to put your best foot forward with. Something that is equally as beautiful as the ideas you create into existence.
After about 18 months of running myself ragged, I realized that even though this business and all that’s in it is my big great wonderful idea. It doesn’t mean I’m meant to execute every single facet of it. Letting others do what they do best, to better help my needs was critical.
